Started in 1976, The Chinese Accounting Professorsˇ¦ Association of North America (CAPANA) is a non-for-profit academic organization that serves the research and teaching interests of Chinese accounting professors and doctoral students in North America, Asia, Europe, etc. One of CAPANAˇ¦s key missions is to promote high-quality academic research on China, the Asia Pacific region, and other emerging market economies. We welcome non-Chinese accounting researchers with similar interests to join CAPANA as members and participate in our research activities.
The major initiatives that CAPANA has undertaken in recent years are as follows:
